Testing out Vista Graphic Drivers - New Games??

I just installed the new Beta drivers for the 965 chipset on the x61 Tablet PC. They seem to be doing OK, supposed to play more games and enable some more features of the Intel Integrated Graphics.

They should be out of beta soon, then the real testing will begin.

Now I wonder what games it will play - I know it's supposed to play Call of Duty 2 - I'll see if that installs!!

Vista Going on the R2H

Tomorrow night I am going to start putting Vista on the R2H - I am going to do the video I was talking about with XP, then start the process. I am going to try VLite to tone down the install.

We'll see how it goes...

I still have XP on my R2H, so I am going to hold off till I we get an answer to some questions over on GBM.

I've been trying to decide what to write here on my blog... Tablet PC's... I dont't know...

One thing I am getting ready to do is to format my Asus R2H and give a go at starting to use it more. I don't know how, but I have it sitting there and it's collecting some dust. I have been trying to use it to read some stuff on C# programming (that change has been going really slow - humm - maybe blog about that some too...).

Maybe I'll start tonight in blogging about putting Vista on my R2H - that'll be a good start.

Looks like I am going to have to do some more game testing on the new x61 huh... I didn't get to San Andreas yet either...

Wonder how they are going to compare testing them with the new chipset???

World Of Warcraft on an x60t Tablet PC

OK - So I have to admit I have never played WoW in the past... This video might be lame for people who have been playing it for a while. But, it does show the gameplay on the x60 Tablet PC in the early stages of the game. I did end up playing it for a while longer. It would skip a frame every now and again, but not anyting that would hamper game play (at least as far as I made it). Anyways, here it is...

Tablet PC for inking... Turn off the features of the pen???

I'm not too sure I agree with this one, from the Best Practices for inking by Microsoft. The rest of it is a great starter for people getting into Tablet PC's, but I am not too sure why you would want to turn this off... What about selecting the text you want to mark up, or from a web page as a clipping, or.... many other things....(read more)

Last night I was watching some Ustream.TV and saw on of the founders doing a stream. Seems like a normal guy... Wonder what I can do to make my millions?? Think about it - Start a website, let people stream their webcams = make a bunch of money. Now I know there is more to it than that, but man that's simple really.... If you think about it - Make a program that lots of people will use - say 1 million. Sell it for 5 bucks a pop, even though it's maybe worth more, just think of the money....(read more)
